Come Celebrate Papa's Birthday with Us!


Tuesday, July 21st is Hemingway’s birthday. Without him there’d be no Pilar, so we’re commemorating what would have been Papa’s 116th birthday that night with a special EH-inspired menu from Executive Chef Jesse Miller along with classic Hemingway cocktails made with Pilar Rum. The bar also will have (yet to-be-determined) happy hour specials from 5 to 7pm and a punch all night.

Tuesday night’s birthday menu includes:

Breakfast radish, sea salt, cultured butter, rustico $4

Pickled mushrooms $3

Chilled cucumber soup, dill, fried leeks $7

Lobster salad, smoked egg, tarragon vinaigrette, fried capers $14

Braised octopus salad, chili vinaigrette, nasturtium leaves $13

Boises avocado grilled, dressed with cilantro $7

Duck egg omelet, confit, cultured butter, shaved black truffle, duck crackilings $15

Pilar rabbit stew, paprika, chickpeas $12

Curry of wild partridge over rice $13

House ham & chorizo spaghetti, cuban pork broth, bread $14

Suckling pig, salsa verde, garlic potatoe salad  $14

Fried baby eels, garlic aioli  $9
